My name is Matthew Ducker Duffy. I graduated from East Providence High School, but currently live in Portsmouth, RI. I have a B.A. in Biology from URI. I have since come back to work towards my M.A in Special Education. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching or playing football, planning out fantasy football, playing video games, playing with my dogs, as well as taking photos. The photo I included is one I took on URI's campus back when the pharmacy building was being built. I currently work two jobs, one as an Electronics salesman at Target and as a Behavioral Specialist for children with autism
Group Unit Plan: Human Impact This unit uses the study of “extreme” ecosystems to teach concepts of ecology. The unit will take place in the spring after students have studied genetics and evolution. The concepts that will be covered are; Interdependent relationships in ecosystems, cycles of matter and energy transfer in ecosystems, and ecosystem dynamics, functioning and resilience.
